Being in Balance

It’s very strange at the moment.  I get the feeling that there are two programmes running along side by side.  I don’t know if you’ve noticed it too.

One programme is completely heartless with comments on social media which are devoid of compassion, understanding and mercy.  The other is the exact opposite, full of wise sayings, reminding us that we are beings of love, and attempting to bring to light many hitherto hidden truths.

What fascinates me is that both programmes are running simultaneously.  Every other comment on social media is what I would classify as nasty and every other comment I would classify as uplifting.

I decided to invest more time and energy into this strange phenomena.  I watched the news, well what we call the news which is full of nasties.  Nasty people getting their comeuppance, nasty people getting away with things.  Not a lot that was uplifting, so I looked at what could be uplifting and found in my email inbox lots of emails inviting me to join in with peace meditations, vigils, music events to sooth and to uplift as well as the odd email from a friend telling me how much they are missing me or saying how much they appreciated me. To my mind it then began to feel that balance had been restored.

I know in the natural order of things, there must always be balance and it is uplifting to find that just as the nastiness seems to be getting stronger, so is the opposite.  Of course we don’t want divisiveness, we’d like everyone to be nice and compassionate and understanding but then when we study nature, we find balance in all things.  The only time nature becomes unbalanced normally is through some sort of interference by us humans.

Sometimes the nastiness gets to us and we feel hopeless in the light of everything that is happening in the world, hopeless and powerless.  It seems that we cannot even bury our heads in the sand anymore, there seems to be no escape.  In view of the fact that we cannot all go and find a nice cave high in the mountains somewhere without phones, radio or television I think we might need to have some tools in the toolkit that might help us keep a higher frequency in our bodies and around us.

* Firstly, don’t believe everything you hear or read.

* Remember that you are a Divine Being who chose to incarnate at this particular time.

* Remember your body does carry the light.

* Play some soothing or uplifting music.

* Make time to just sit quietly, even if it can only be for ten minutes and breathe.

* Seek happy people for company, friends who love us and want the best for us.

* Treat yourself, maybe a good book to read in bed or a chocolate or two or, or, or.

* Remember to take those walks in nature.

In a nutshell, we must take better care of ourselves and be particular about what energy we want to live in.  If we notice that our bodies kind of deflate when we are listening/watching the news and when we interact with social media, then pull yourself away and do something that lifts your mood.  We can’t ignore what is going on, but we can do small things that can help us feel better and keep our energy high.  So many of us are feeling downcast and physically tired and ill, so it is important that we care for ourselves.

When we maintain a high energy we are assisting the planet to maintain a higher frequency energy.  Higher frequency can help the planet and us to heal by bringing up into our consciousness the things we believe about ourselves that are not true.  It is not always comfortable but it is part of the journey to self-realisation, and inevitably to us being able to express our Soulness, our unconditional love, our compassion and understanding.  Well that’s something to look forward to, unless of course you are already there.

When you read this, if it has resonated with you then it’s true for you.  If it hasn’t resonated - well as I said above, don’t believe everything you read!

Love Patricia
