Let's Make it Happen

Let’s Make it Happen

So many things going on at the moment.  So much happening, I don’t know where to begin. So many differing emotions.

In my own life, things are going well.  I have settled into my new home, created a comfortable nest and am back to doing my online sessions, talks and meditations.

I am an empath and eing an empath means that I feel strongly other peoples pain, fear, loneliness, anger and desperation.  I have to constantly be mindful, feel my own body whether any of these things are my emotions or the emotions of others.  It seems to be quite a balancing act at times.  Yes, some of the fear is mine and I will explain more.

When I witness what is happening to people around the world, how they are being treated by other humans, I truly do feel for them.  I feel angry when the world looks on but doesn’t do anything to help, but that anger is an expression of my fear, my fear that if the world can witness but not do anything to help these people, then what is happening to them, can so easily happen to me/to us.  When we witness the world and the countries of the world becoming more and more totalitarian, even here in the UK, then yes, I get scared.

I was a teenager in the sixties (giving my age away I know), we felt so free.  We could protest and did and sometimes win.  I celebrated a few years later the success of the women of Greenham Common.  They had spent years living in camps around the American airbase that housed nuclear weapons.  Their camps were repeatedly destroyed by the authorities and sometimes by thugs, but they protested quietly, non violently and in song and eventually won.  Somehow the hope of winning anything these days seems pretty small.  The world, to me, seems harsher, more violent, colder somehow.  In my work with people I see families fragmenting, friends falling out and people feeling more isolated, more hopeless.

But then I have to wonder why I chose to be born into these times.  To experience such hope that we were going to create a better world and then to live through what I sometimes see as a world in chaos and people feeling so helpless and hopeless.

I am sure I was told before I incarnated that it wouldn’t be easy.  Everything seems easy when not in a third dimensional physical form!  For years my Soul has been telling me to help others to hold the light.  To anchor the light into the earth.  To love when there is no returned love.  To love when all the others can do is hate.  I do believe that Christ taught us how to do it by his example, knowing that there are always times on this planet when it will be needed.

Some people might ask what the ‘light’ is and how can they hold it.  My belief is that the light is the light will all carry in our hearts, the light of compassion, hope, joy, optimism, understanding, forgiveness.  All these things are a higher frequency of energy and therefore more akin to light.

As Christ told us “Don’t hide your light under a bushel”.  If anyone knows what a bushel is, please let me know.  I do know that now is the time when our ‘light’ is needed everywhere on the planet.  I might be afraid, but that doesn’t stop me helping others find their light, giving hope to the hopeless, giving comfort to those who feel broken and isolated, understanding those who feel alone and friendless.

When I am in contact with my Soul Self and actually stop long enough to hear it’s beautiful voice in my heart, then the fear disappears and there is no room for fear only love.  I can then feel how all creation is made from love, I can see the world through my Souls eyes and it is beautiful.

We are all divine humans, we have a Spirit/Soul part that is much, much larger than our human body bit and yet we get so caught up with the human drama, obviously, we are human.  It’s like a soap opera and we forget that it doesn’t have to be this way.  We can change the energy on this planet, we can bring more light, more hope, more joy, more love.  It might take a while.  The Americans took years to leave Greenham but those women never gave up and neither should we.

If this is what we have been born to do, and if now is the time to do it, if our Souls and hearts are urging us to hold the light, then it is not a waste of time and energy, it’s something that is needed.  I will everyday light a candle for those in darkness and pain.  I will visualise a time when all will be living in peace.  I will hold all in their truth that they too are magnificent, divine, spirit beings and I will ask for miracles and magic.  Like the words Captain Picard used to say in Star Trek “Make it so”.

Let’s make the miracles happen, let’s make this planet a planet of love.  Let’s be the light that is being requested right now.

Yours in light and love - Patricia
